Forum templates

Every forum post has the right info. The bot points out what’s missing.

In a sales, recruiting or help forum, an incomplete post wastes everyone’s time: what price, which server, what’s your name? Here, you tell the forum what a post must contain. An incomplete post gets a tag and a bot reply listing what’s missing, with a template to copy. Once the author completes it, the reminder disappears.

What it looks like in your server.

What it’s for

01

Posts readable at first glance

Price, server, name: the expected info is there, in the same place, in every post.

02

A reminder that clears itself

The bot replies in the post, the author fixes it, the reminder disappears. No clutter left behind.

03

Strict mode where it counts

On a marketplace, a post still incomplete after an hour is deleted and its text sent back to the author privately, so they can repost it complete.

How it works

  1. Pick the forum

Only those where an incomplete post gets in the way: sales, recruiting, tech support. Open discussion forums stay open.

  2. Write the sections

From 2 to 5 short labels, in your community’s language.

  3. The bot keeps watch

Every new post is read. Complete, nothing happens. Incomplete, it gets a tag and a reminder.

Soft: tag and reminder. Strict: after a one-hour grace period, a post that’s still incomplete is deleted and its text sent back to the author.

Good to know

  • When your server is created, the AI already sets up your forum templates. This module is for editing them afterwards.

  • A forum removed from the list keeps its posts: it’s simply no longer checked.
