Temporary voice

Everyone creates their own voice channel in one click. It vanishes when everyone leaves.

Voice 1, Voice 2, Voice 3... There’s always one too many, or not enough. Empty channels pile up, and on the night everyone shows up, there’s no room. Here, a single channel stays on screen: a member joins it, their own channel is created instantly, and it disappears when the last person leaves.

What it looks like in your server.

What it’s for

01

No empty channels

A channel appears when someone needs it and goes away when it’s empty. Your channel list stays short.

02

Everyone gets their own space

Whoever creates the channel owns it: they rename it, lock the door, set the number of spots.

03

No commands to remember

Members join a voice channel, that’s all. The rest is done with a few buttons.

How it works

  1. Pick the entry channel

It’s the voice channel that acts as a button. Use one you already have, or let Ultiz create it for you.

  2. Decide where channels go

The category that holds the new voice channels. By default, the entry channel’s category.

  3. A member joins the entry channel

Their channel is created within a second, they’re moved into it automatically and become its owner.

  4. They manage it, then leave

A button panel waits for them in the voice channel’s chat. When the last person leaves, the channel disappears.

Settings

Hub channel
The entry channel. When a member joins it, their voice channel is created. Ultiz can also create one for you.
Category
Where created channels are placed. By default, the same category as the entry channel.
Channel name
The name pattern, for example Lea’s voice. Two chips to click: Username inserts the member’s name, Counter adds a number that goes up with each channel.
User limit
The number of spots when the channel is created. Set 0 for no limit.
Rename the channel
The owner can change their channel’s name with the Rename button.
Change the limit
The owner can change the number of spots with the Limit button.
Kick members
The owner can disconnect someone from their channel. There’s no button for it: they right-click the person in Discord.
Lock the channel
The owner can close the door with the Lock button. Nobody else can get in.

What your members see

  • Join the entry channel

The only thing to do to get your own channel. Nothing to type.

  • Lock

Closes the channel’s door. A second click opens it again.

  • Rename

Opens a small window to type the new name (90 characters max).

  • Limit

Changes the number of spots. Each click moves to the next step: unlimited, 2, 4, 6, 10, 20, then it starts over.

  • Claim

If the owner has left the channel, another member takes it over. While the owner is still there, it’s refused.

Good to know

  • Until you pick the entry channel, nothing happens: it’s what triggers everything.

  • The panel buttons follow your switches. Turn off Rename and its button disappears. Claim is always there.

  • The entry channel is never deleted. Only channels created by members go away, as soon as the last person leaves.
