Welcome
A warm hello and the right role, the second a member joins.
Someone new joins and nobody notices. They can’t see anything, don’t know what to do, and leave thirty seconds later. Welcome takes care of them for you: a message that greets them by name, their role handed out instantly, and a note when someone leaves.

What it’s for
Nobody lands in an empty room
Every newcomer gets a greeting with their name, in the channel of your choice or by direct message.
The right role, right away
The join role is assigned automatically. New members see their channels without waiting on anyone.
Bots stay outside
A button to click before getting in. The role that opens your server is only given after that click.
How it works
Turn on what you need
Six settings, each with its own toggle. Use just one or all six, it’s your call.
Pick the channel and write
Choose where the message goes, then write it. Drop {user} or {server} in and Ultiz fills in the real name.
Pick the roles
The role given on arrival, and the one given after verification if you use it.
A member joins
Everything runs on its own, in order: verification, the channel message, the direct message, then the role.
Settings
- Captcha verification
- Every time someone joins, Ultiz posts a message with a button in the channel you choose. Write it as plain text or as a polished embed.
- Role given after verification
- The role a member gets when they click the button. This is the one that opens up the rest of your server.
- Welcome message
- The channel and message posted when someone joins. Three formats: plain text, embed, or a rich message with images and buttons.
- Direct message to newcomers
- The same welcome, sent privately. No channel to pick. Plain text or embed.
- Auto-assigned roles
- One or more roles given on arrival, without the member having to click anything.
- Goodbye message
- The channel and message when someone leaves. Same three formats as the welcome.
- Welcome card
- A welcome image with the member’s avatar. Set the title, subtitle, background pattern (grid, dots, rays, aurora or solid), background color and accent color.
- Your own image on the card
- Swap the pattern for your own image: PNG, JPG or WebP, 2 MB max, sized 1024 x 384. An adjustable dark overlay keeps the text readable on top.
- Placeholders that fill themselves
- {user} becomes the member mention, {username} their username, {server} your server name, {memberCount} the member count. They work in every message and on the card.
What your members see
VerifyThe button on the verification message. The member clicks and gets their role within a second.
Good to know
The card needs a title. Leave it empty and no card is sent, even with the toggle on.
Direct messages don’t always arrive: many members block DMs from servers. The message posted in a channel always goes out.
Type #rules in a message and Ultiz turns it into a real clickable link. If that channel doesn’t exist, it stays plain text.
