Temporary roles
Give a role for 7 days, the bot takes it back on its own.
A VIP trial, event access, a sanction that should expire: you give the role, make a note to remove it, and three weeks later it’s still there. Here, you give the role with a duration and forget about it: the bot removes it at the right time and logs it if you have a log channel.

What it’s for
Nothing to remember
The end date is set when the role is given. Removal happens without you, even after a bot restart.
A default duration, changeable every time
7 days if you say nothing, or anything you like between 1 day and 1 year.
A record of everything
Every role given and removed can be logged in a staff channel.
How it works
Set the default duration
The one used when nobody specifies. 7 days to start.
Choose who can give roles
Moderators, plus any roles you add, an event organizer for example.
Staff gives, the bot takes back
The role expires right on time. The member loses it without anyone having to think about it.
Settings
- Default duration
- Between 1 and 365 days.
- Log channel
- A staff channel where the bot reports roles given and removed. Left empty, it works silently.
- Who can give a temporary role
- Moderators, plus the roles you add to the list.
Good to know
Pending expirations belong to the bot: they can’t be edited by hand in the configuration.
A role given manually on Discord, without going through the module, has no duration and won’t be removed.
