Staff votes

Your team decides together: secret ballot, quorum, majority, and the bot acts.

Hiring a moderator, sanctioning a member, changing a rule: as a group, it turns into endless debate and the loudest voice wins. Here, a staff member asks the question in the team’s private channel, everyone votes in secret, the vote closes on time and the bot announces the verdict. If a role must be given, or someone kicked or banned, it does it.

What it’s for

01

Nobody sways anybody

Secret ballots and results hidden until the end. The bot shows the counts, never who voted for what.

02

Clear rules, set in advance

How many must vote for it to count, and which majority wins. No more decisions made by two people in a corner.

03

The decision is applied

A passed vote can give or remove a role, kick or ban. The bot does it, and everything stays on record.

How it works

  1. Pick the private channel

A staff channel, visible only to voting roles. The pinned panel and every vote live there.

  2. Choose who votes

Your team’s roles: moderators, admins, officers. Leave it empty and everyone who can manage messages votes.

  3. The team votes

A staff member opens a vote, everyone clicks their choice, the bot reminds those who haven’t voted, then closes and counts.

Settings

Channel and panel
The staff’s private channel, plus the panel’s title and line, in your team’s own words.
Who votes
The roles that get a say. Empty: everyone who can manage messages.
Who opens a vote
Any voter, or only those who manage messages.
Duration
How long a vote stays open, from 1 hour to 30 days. 1 day by default.
Quorum
The share of voters who must take part for the vote to count. At 0, no quorum.
Majority
Simple (the leading option wins), absolute (more than half), two thirds, or unanimous.
Secrecy and results
Secret ballots or not, and results visible during the vote or only at the end.
Reminder
How many hours before the end the bot reminds those who haven’t voted.
Announcement
A public channel to announce a passed decision, like a new rule or a new moderator. Empty, everything stays with the staff.

What your members see

  • Open a vote

The panel button. A question, options, a duration, and the action to run if it passes.

  • Vote

One button per option on the vote card. Reserved for voting roles.

Good to know

  • Every vote leaves a record: who could vote, how many did, which rule applied and what followed.

  • A vote about a member (role, kick, ban) stays in the private channel: that person sees neither the question nor the count.

  • For a server run by one person, this module is pointless. It really shines from 3 people up.
